Service level agreements, operational guidelines, and platform usage terms.

1. Service Overview

SmartHire247, operated by GiRiNova X Private Limited (CIN: U62020JH2025PTC026271), provides the following services through its platform:

  • For Candidates: Profile creation, AI-powered job matching, SmartHire Score calculation, mock interviews, identity verification, referral program, career copilot, and ID card generation.
  • For Employers: Job posting, candidate sourcing, AI matching engine, CRM pipeline, applicant tracking, verification credits, and international hiring tools.
  • For Franchise Partners: Training center management, batch tracking, student enrollment, placement coordination, revenue analytics, and brand partnership.
  • For Administrators: Platform management, fraud detection, compliance monitoring, analytics, and user management.

Advance Notice for Changes
  • We target 99.5% uptime on an annual basis (excluding scheduled maintenance).
  • Scheduled maintenance will be performed during low-traffic hours (2 AM - 6 AM IST) with at least 48 hours advance notice.
  • Emergency maintenance may be performed without notice to address security vulnerabilities or critical bugs.
  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted service and are not liable for downtime caused by force majeure events.

4. API Services

4.1 API Access

  • API access is available for Enterprise tier subscribers and approved integrations.
  • API keys are confidential and must not be shared, published, or embedded in client-side code.
  • Rate limits apply: 100 requests/minute (Professional), 1000 requests/minute (Enterprise).

4.2 API Usage

  • API must be used only for authorized purposes consistent with these Terms.
  • Bulk data extraction, scraping, or competitive intelligence gathering is prohibited.
  • We reserve the right to revoke API access for abuse or violation of terms.

5. Data Processing Services

5.1 AI Processing

  • SmartHire Score is calculated using weighted factors: Skills (25%), Verification (20%), Interview Performance (15%), Experience (15%), Profile Completeness (15%), Education (10%).
  • AI matching algorithms consider: skill match, title relevance, experience alignment, verification status, and location preference.
  • All AI outputs are advisory in nature — final decisions remain with users and employers.

5.2 Verification Services

  • Aadhaar verification is processed through government-authorized APIs.
  • DigiLocker integration follows DEIT (MeitY) guidelines.
  • Verification results are cached for 6 months — re-verification may be required for expired documents.

6. Communication Services

  • Transactional emails: Application updates, interview schedules, placement notifications — cannot be opted out.
  • Platform notifications: In-app alerts for important account and job updates — cannot be opted out.
  • Marketing emails: New features, tips, and promotional content — opt-out available via email preferences.
  • SMS notifications: OTP, critical alerts — standard carrier charges may apply.

7. Content Standards

7.1 User-Generated Content

  • You retain ownership of content you create (profiles, resumes, reviews).
  • You grant SmartHire247 a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, process, and distribute your content within the platform for service delivery purposes.
  • We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms or applicable law.

7.2 Prohibited Content

  • Discriminatory, hateful, or offensive material.
  • Misleading or fraudulent information.
  • Content that infringes intellectual property rights.
  • Malware, phishing links, or harmful code.
  • Personal information of third parties without their consent.

8. Third-Party Integrations

We are not responsible for outages, policy changes, or issues caused by third-party providers. However, we commit to maintaining alternative solutions where feasible.

9. Maintenance & Updates

  • We continuously improve the Platform with new features, bug fixes, and security patches.
  • Major feature changes will be announced at least 30 days in advance.
  • Deprecated features will be supported for at least 90 days after deprecation notice.
  • We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature with reasonable notice.

10. Service Termination

  • By User: You may terminate your account at any time from dashboard settings. Active subscriptions will not be refunded for the current period.
  • By Platform: We may terminate accounts for Terms violations, fraudulent activity, legal requirements, or extended inactivity (12+ months).
  • Platform Shutdown: In the unlikely event of platform shutdown, users will receive at least 90 days notice and the ability to export all their data.

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Ranchi, Jharkhand, India.
